Spice Container
While studying at the Design Academy Eindhoven, I was interested in looking further into the history of The Netherlands. Inspired by the VOC, or the Dutch East India Company, I created a product for the modern world.
The VOC was a trading company specializing in spices. By combining the idea of packaging efficiency, which is very important in shipping, with spices, I arrived at the idea of redesigning spice containers.
These spice containers are designed to simplify spice racks. The rectangular shape allows the containers to be used like books on a shelf, where they are visible and accessible while taking up minimal width.
